Mike Bergmann Minerals and the Galena Rock Shop are owned and operated by Mike and Sally Bergmann (with help and support from sons Matt and Rob).  We have been active in the mineral business for over 30 years buying, selling, trading, and collecting fine mineral specimens.  The Galena Rock Shop was established in 1990 in the beautiful historic mining town of Galena, Illinois as a family owned and operated business.  After more than 17 years we are closing our retail shop and would like to thank all the wonderful and loyal customers we have had the pleasure of doing business with. While you may find our shop closed you will still be able to peruse what's left of our shop inventory on this website and we would be happy to ship items to you or make arrangements for pick-up.  We are focusing our energies on the collectible mineral, fossil and mining artifact business and will be continuing to sell quality items.  See us at the mineral shows listed here and please feel free to call for an appointment or e-mail with any questions.
